Hour Consulting was born from a conversation that had been building for years.
Koel Ganguli
Koel Ganguli brings over 20 years of experience, with the majority of her career dedicated to HR and recruitment. She started her professional journey in public relations, investor relations, and corporate affairs, where she honed her ability to understand people, build relationships, and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
Pia Ganguli
Pia Ganguli has over 15 years of expertise in recruitment, building a career that’s as dynamic as it is people-focused. A full-time entrepreneur and mother, Pia’s work is driven by the belief that great organizations are built on great relationships. Her leadership style blends empathy with expertise, creating lasting connections that drive success.
Together, Koel and Pia bring over 35 years of combined experience to Hour Consulting. As children of immigrants born in Canada, they grew up watching their family build something from nothing in a new country. That experience, the resilience, the ambition, and the understanding that opportunity changes lives is the foundation of Hour Consulting.
In 2017, they set out to create the kind of company they’d always wished existed: one that combined recruitment and HR consulting under one roof, so clients wouldn’t have to juggle multiple vendors to build a great team. A company that treated candidates as people, not transactions. And one that gave back to the communities that supported it.
Today, Hour Consulting operates across Canada, India, the UK, and the US, working with startups, scale-ups, and established enterprises. Our leadership team and senior management are entirely women, a reflection of the company we set out to build from day one.
